Lay-Z-spa Transformer Fix E02
Solve Lay Z Spa E02 Error Codes with a Transformer Replacement
If you’re dealing with the frustrating E02 error on your Lay Z Spa, replacing the transformer could be the solution. But before you swap it out, here are a few things to check:
- Is the impeller rubbing before the unit cuts out? If yes, the E02 error is likely not caused by the transformer.
- Have you already replaced the impeller, shaft, and shaft grommets? If you’re still seeing the E02 error after these replacements, move on to the next step.
Next, check if your model uses a PTC heater. Calcium blockages in the heater are a common cause of E02 errors. If your heater is blocked, this could be the issue. Need a new heater? I have replacement heaters available here on the website.
If the heater is clear and the issue persists, then the transformer is likely at fault. Replacing the transformer could finally fix your E02 error and restore your spa’s performance.
Please note that the Lay z spa transformers are used items and come with a 12 month warranty.
