Tools You Will Need:

• Pliers

How to Install (Internal Models):

1. Power Off & Drain Water: Always unplug your CleverSpa and drain the water fully before starting work.

2. Access the Machine:

   • Locate and remove the 2 x 10mm bolts to release the keypad.

   • Unscrew the filter debris screen and outlet debris screen using plumbers grips.

   • Undo the jubilee clips underneath for the air blower pipe.

   • Pull the machine free from the liner.

3. Open the Machine:

   • Remove the top cover by unscrewing 4 bolts.

   • Locate the heater unit secured by 8 screws—remove these and take off the heater cover.

4. Replace Components:

   • Swap the old heating element for the new one.

   • Locate the front screw holding the heater chamber in place and remove it.

   • Swap over the water pressure switch (found on the side of the chamber).

5. Reassemble:

   • Rebuild in reverse order, ensuring all seals are tight and components are properly aligned.

How Do CleverSpa Heaters Fail?

• Chemical Imbalance: Over time, imbalanced pH or sanitizer levels can corrode the heating element, leading to failures such as blown fuses or RCD tripping.

• Debris Build-Up: Dirt and debris in the water can clog the pressure switch, preventing the heater from activating.

• Element Burnout: A broken heating coil leads to no heat being produced, often showing as an error code or cold water despite running jets.
