Lay z spa e02 repair

The most common cause of a Lay-Z-Spa E02 error code is a worn impeller shaft bushing, which can cause impeller shaft misalignment and prevent the impeller magnet from rotating correctly inside the water pump. Older style impellers can also crack and should be replaced if any signs of damage are found. This is less common on newer style impellers. We always recommend fully refurbishing the complete water pump using one of the LayZRepair water pump service kits.

If your Lay-Z-Spa water pump runs for only a few seconds before displaying E02, we recommend checking the water flow kits and flow sensor components.

If the E02 error still persists after servicing the water pump, the transformer may also require replacement.

Always check the pipework on your spa liner for crushed or restricted pipes, as these can reduce water flow and trigger E02 errors. Blocked or scaled heater cores can also restrict circulation. We recommend using LayZRepair No Scale to help prevent limescale build-up and protect your heater core, seals and internal components.
