Inside every MSpa unit, there are two magnetic flow paddles. These paddles work alongside the internal magnetic reed switches to confirm that water is moving correctly through the heater. When they wear out, weaken, or become damaged, the system can no longer detect flow — triggering the F1 error and preventing the heater from operating.
