A useful method for locating Lay-Z-Spa water leaks is to remove the outer casing from the heater pump unit and carefully tip the machine onto its back. The water system can then be filled through Pipe B and Pipe C to help identify leaking seals, pipework or damaged components.

Once leaks have been identified, a full service kit is always recommended, as older Lay-Z-Spa seals and O-rings are commonly found in a worn or perished condition. Pitted or corroded heater cores should also be replaced, as corrosion can eventually lead to further water leaks and heater failure.
